It’s the most wonderful time of year! We’re kicking off Pride month by celebrating some of our favorite LGBTQ+ and allied tech leaders across streaming, retail, fintech, and more. Our Pride theme is Celebrating ‘Troublemakers’, which each of our panel speakers embody through their commitment to  more equitable spaces and creating change within their companies and beyond. Scott Uzzell (he/him)
President & CEO

Scott Uzzell is the President and CEO of Converse, under the Nike umbrella. Uzzell is one of the only Black footwear industry executives atop a big company and has not shied away from using his position to create meaningful change, especially during the pandemic. With a background in business administration from the historically Black university, Florida A&M, Uzzell is sure to use his position of authority to drive real, systemic change that lasts well behind him.

Edwin Aoki (he/him)
VP, CTO of Blockchain, Crypto & Digital Currencies

Edwin Aoki currently serves as the CTO of Blockchain, Crypto, and Digital Currencies at PayPal. He is a published author and makes his home in California, where he enjoys the Bay Area’s abundance of good food, great wine, and opportunities to enjoy the natural world. When he is not at work, Mr. Aoki is involved with wildlife conservation and likes to spend time with big cats.

Bradford Shellhammer (he/him)
GM/ VP, Buyer Experience

Bradford Shellhammer is the GM of eBay New York City and eBay’s Vice President of Buyer Experience, a leading product visionary in the company. He’s also the product leader for eBay for Charity, which has raised over $1B for charities around the world. Prior to eBay he was one of Fast Company’s “˜100 Most Creative People in Business’ and was coined the “˜King of Quirk’ by Forbes Magazine and the “˜Eames of E-Commerce’ by Wired. He was the founder of Fab.com, Bezar, and Queerty, was Chief Design Officer at Backcountry.com, and has won 3 Webbys. In his spare time, you can find Shellhammer singing in a rock band.

Peter Wang (he/him)
CTO

Peter Wang is CTO at BuzzFeed, where he oversees and manages all Tech functions across engineering, data, design, and project management to support the business. In his role, he spearheads innovative tech initiatives to help build the future operating model for digital media, and also serves as a strategic partner to the company’s executive team. Wang brings more than 15 years of tech experience to BuzzFeed from a career spanning across a variety of industries, including venture-backed consumer apps, digital media, SaaS, and financial services platforms.

Jessica Casano-Antonellis (she/her)
VP of Communications, Disney+ & Hulu

Jessica Casano-Antonellis is the Vice President, Communication for Disney Streaming Services. Jessica joined Disney in 2017 from Vimeo, where she served as Vice President, Communications and Diversity and Inclusion Program Lead. A native of Massachusetts, Jessica holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from San Francisco State University. She currently resides in Hastings-On-Hudson, NY with her wife Lexy and their two boys, Romeo and Frankie.

CJ Harvey (he/him)
VP Product Management, HBOMax

CJ Harvey is Vice President, Product Management, at HBO Max, responsible for developing a best-in-class platform experience that puts storytelling at center stage and aims to foster emotional connections with the platform’s brands. Prior to his work at WarnerMedia, CJ was an Associate Director at Grindr where he was responsible to develop content guidelines and define policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with regulations in all countries where the company operates. CJ is highly focused on building agile, performance-driven teams that utilize data, user research, and in-depth testing to provide scalable solutions that deliver business value and delight users.

Tammarrian Rogers (she/ her)
Inclusion Engineering Director

Tammarrian Rogers brings nearly 30 years of engineering leadership experience in both hardware and software at Microsoft, Apple, and General Motors. “¯She is currently Director of Engineering at Snap.Inc in Santa Monica, CA leading the Quality Assurance, Release management, Localization, and IT teams. Prior to joining Snap, Tammarrian enjoyed her 23-year career at Microsoft leading teams in the Office, Online Services, and Windows Divisions. Tammarrian mentors and serves on several Boards including Ada Developer’s Academy, Northwest Tech Equity Initiative (NWTEI) and OPTYVA. She was recently named one of Forbes 2018 Top 50 Women in Tech. Tammarrian also enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends including her standard poodle, traveling and exploring her new city, Los Angeles.

Shar Jossell (she/her)
Media Personality

Shar Jossell is a media personality, journalist, and writer. She focuses on pop culture reporting and writes in the intersections of trans identities, race, and entertainment. Her passion for the arts and journalism began at a young age, she’s technically been broadcasting since she was twelve in the 6th grade, by reading the announcements over the school intercom! Shar has previously served as a panelist on AfterbuzzTV & Black Hollywood Live, quickly becoming one of their most sought after personalities.
