How do you pronounce it?

/ˈkôrp(ə)rət/ ← unless you’re a librarian or etymologist, this probably isn’t helpful

Qorporate is pronounced **just like the word “corporate.”** The Q is our queer, fun spin on a word that has traditionally been associated with very serious people in suits peering over cubicles. Hard pass.

Nominate someone to represent your company on Qorporate, Out in Tech’s corporate council:

● This person will function as the primary liaison between our two organizations
● They’ll route speaking opportunities, upcoming events, and announcements internally;
● Handle or coordinate w/ someone internally on job postings; and
● Attend our regular roundtables on various topics around diversity, equity, and inclusion
● Can be a recruiter, D&I professional, employee group leader, or anyone else you see fit
● Probably 1-2 hours/month time commitment
● You can swap out this person anytime by letting us know in writing at qorporate@outintech.com

Log In

1.   Visit outintech.com/wp-login.php
2.   Select “login with username and password” (do not login with wordpress.com)
3.   Enter your company name (all lowercase) as username and “outintech” as the password

Navigate to jobs section

Logging in will open up your profile page. Click on the “Jobs” option in the top left corner to navigate to your company’s job page.

Posting new jobs (yay!)

Step 1: Click the “Add New” button at the top.

Step 2: Enter the job title at the top and select your company name. For example, enter “Chief Executive Officer” and select “Disney.”

Step 3: Scroll down and enter 3 more fields:

– job post URL (pointing to the full job posting or job description)
– location (enter city where the role is based; you can also select “Remote” by clicking the checkbox, if applicable)
– employment type (select all that apply)

Step 4: Add your company logo in bottom right section by clicking “Set featured image.” Once inside Featured image menu, you can select your logo from our Media Library or add a new logo by clicking “Upload Files” in top left. Either way, pls click “Set featured image” button in bottom right to save the logo.

Step 5: Scroll back up to the top and click the “Publish” button on the right. You’re done! 🎊

When done, you’ll see a small banner that says “Post published.” Click “Jobs” on the left to see all of your posted jobs.
