As the tech industry continues to grow with unparalleled opportunity, many are left on the outside – wondering how they too can be a part of the innovation. Having the right skills is just one of the challenges people face. The roadblocks of breaking into tech are exacerbated for marginalized communities and LGBTQ+ people, who may not have the “right” background and don’t have a clear path.
Join Out in Tech SF at Asana for an all-star panel of experts who know what it takes to ‘Break into Tech’. We’ll hear their stories and discuss how they’re actively working to uplift marginalized communities.

Jessica Clayton – Senior Product Manager, Zorroa & SF Leadership Team Member, Out in Tech
Jessica is a Senior Product Manager at Zorroa, a visual machine learning company. The path here was less than straight-forward. 5 years ago she couldn’t land a job at a tech company despite hundreds of conversations. So, she spun up her own consulting firm, worked retail and in fitness to help with bills, and finally landed her first tech job after a year-long hunt. She recently joined Zorroa to fulfill her dream of making ethical machine learning available to the masses.
