Out in Tech New York | Women’s History Month Coffee Chat
March 26, 2017 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to demonstrate that those who identify as women, trans, or non-binary face inequity in the workplace, from hiring and salary to advancement and parental leave. It’s an important part of women’s history.
Join us Sunday, March 26 in Chelsea for an intimate coffee chat where you can meet other women and allies from the Out in Tech community. We’ll learn how to network in a cis-gendered white male industry and enjoy coffee provided by our friends at La Colombe.
Our presenter is Alison Taffel Rabinowitz, a lecturer who discusses the importance of being the Beyonce of your career and female ally entrepreneur and marketing guru. Alison mentors ambitious women around the country, and has taught at General Assembly, The Startup Institute, and Miami Ad School’s NYC campus. She recently spoke at Cole Haan’s Inspiration Weekend and Pandora’s Womens Day.
