Out in Tech London | Let’s Talk About Mental Health
November 6, 2019 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Recent research has revealed that a third of employees wouldn’t feel comfortable disclosing a mental health issue to anybody at work, and two thirds believe that their employer isn’t interested in their mental health.
With 1 in 4 of us experiencing a mental health issue in our lives, it’s critical that we feel supported at work (and beyond). Further to that, Mind have reported that LGBTIQ+ people can be at a higher risk of experiencing a mental health problem than the wider population.
We’re hosting an important discussion at Google where we’ll hear from experts and leaders on how we can destigmatize mental health, be kind to our minds, and support each other.
Not everything that weighs you down is yours to carry – we’re here for you.
