Out in Tech #NetWerking
Research tells us that a stunning 70-80% percent of jobs are found through networking. Whether you’re currently looking for a new job, considering a change in the future, or just keeping up-to-date with your career options, establishing professional connections is invaluable. But as you may know, meeting industry-relevant professionals in a city of 8.5 million isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Out in Tech can help! We invite you to join us at LinkedIn to acquire the tools and connections you need, whether you’re actively seeking employment, passively job seeking, or looking to hire someone. In Part 1 of the event, a leading career coach will discuss tips for pitching yourself most effectively. Then in Part 2 we’ll put you to werk — you’ll pitch yourself to other LGBT professionals in lightning sessions. Groups will be organized around participants’ roles and industries to match you with the connections that matter most.
